Why become an LCAM Arabic member!

Membership categories & Eligibility Criteria


Full Membership

Full Membership in LCAM Arabic offers exclusive benefits not available to other membership categories. These include:

  • Voting Rights: Eligibility to vote in organizational matters, including presidential elections
  • Leadership Opportunities: The right to run for administrative or leadership positions within LCAM Arabic
  • Priority Access: Full members are given priority for participation in LCAM events such as conferences, workshops, and networking sessions

Eligibility Criteria: Individuals (not only physicians) with ties to an Arabic-speaking country in MENA, and any connection to the field of lung cancer may apply for Full Membership. Such ties may include:

  • Citizenship in an Arabic-speaking MENA country
  • Graduation from a school located in an Arabic-speaking MENA country
  • Current employment in an Arabic-speaking MENA country
  • Other demonstrated connections to an Arabic-speaking country in MENA

Full Membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Membership committee


Community Membership

Community Membership is open to anyone interested in staying connected with LCAM Arabic and supporting its mission. This category is ideal for individuals who want to remain informed and engaged with LCAM Arabic.

Community Members receive:

  • Regular updates and newsletters
  • Invitations to selected LCAM Arabic events
  • Access to valuable resources and educational content

No formal approval is required — registration with your name and email is sufficient.

Joining as a Community Member allows you to contribute to the success of LCAM Arabic and stay informed about advances in lung cancer care, education and research across the MENA region and globally.


Honorary Membership

Honorary Membership is reserved for distinguished individuals who have made a significant impact in the field of lung cancer, regardless of their geographic or cultural ties to the Arabic-speaking MENA region.

Candidates may be nominated by others or self-nominated, and all nominations are reviewed and approved by the LCAM Arabic Membership Committee.
