Dr. Abdulaziz AlJassim

Dr. Abdulaziz AlJassim is a Senior Specialist in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center, with a clinical focus on thoracic oncology and sarcomas. He earned his medical degree from Kuwait University in 2009. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, UK) in 2016 and completed the Kuwaiti Board of Internal Medicine (KBIM) in 2017.

Dr. AlJassim pursued postgraduate oncology training in Canada, completing his Medical Oncology Residency at the University of Ottawa (2018–2020), followed by a dedicated fellowship in Thoracic Oncology and Sarcoma at the same institution (2020–2022).

He serves as a Clinical Tutor for the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization (KIMS) Medical Oncology Fellowship Program and is actively engaged in training the next generation of oncologists.

Dr. AlJassim is an elected member of the Kuwait Oncology Association and a member of several international oncology societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
