Dr. Myriam Saadi

Dr. Myriam Saadi is an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology. She earned her medical degree from Faculty of Medicine of Sfax in Sfax, Tunisia. She completed residency in Medical Oncology and Hematology. She has University degrees in lung and chest oncology, cancer biology, pain management, and research at University Tunis el Manar, Faculty of Medicine of Tunis in Tunis, Tunisia. As well as a University degree in palliative care at University of Sousse, Faculty of Medicine of Sousse, in Sousse, Tunisia. 
She plays a central role in the multidisciplinary thoracic tumor board, contributing to evidence-based decision-making and personalized cancer care. 
Actively engaged in both national and regional oncology initiatives, Dr. Myriam Saadi was a board member of the Tunisian Society of Medical Oncology and has led several pivotal studies, including a pilot lung cancer screening project aimed at improving early detection strategies in Tunisia. She is also co-investigator in a national lung cancer registry study, designed to provide real-world epidemiological and therapeutic data to guide policy and practice.
She has been selected as one of the brightest minds in cancer research for the 2024 International Development & Education Award (IDEA) from Conquer Cancer the ASCO Foundation. This award recognized her professional achievements and her potential to be a leader of oncology in her country.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Myriam Saadi is deeply involved in academic mentorship, overseeing the training of medical students, interns, residents, and oncology fellows, and contributing to research in health policy, lung cancer, and gender equity in oncology.
